That's pretty dope, though I have a hard time believing that's the outfit he's going to be sporting in WWII. Looks too Batman Begins for the 40s. At
any rate, that's the Ultimates Cap if I ever saw it.

I think it's hard to be impressed with any design. Cap is basically the cheesiest superhero ever created. That costume couldn't possibly look
particularly impressive on a person not matter what. It is what it is, a super corny US flag outfit.
I have a hard time envisioning the movie and it not being corny, frankly.

I give it a resounding meh. Completely underwhelmed by this. While I kind of agree with DaveMoral's statement about the cheese factor, I have to say
that I think Shazam/Captain Marvel has him beat as far as overall cheesiness goes. If they ever get around to turning that comic into a movie it's
gonna hafta be done super campy style just to turn that to its advantage.

Can you imagine little styrofoam wings on that helmet?
I think they've done the best with what they had to work with. I don't think they're going to get any more practical looking for a movie. They're
stuck with trying to make him look "practical" due to them all tying these guys together for the Avengers flick and set in a wrodl already created by
IM and Hulk movies.
AICN has Thor pics up now also...Imagine a CGI Hulk, Iron Man, Cappy and Thor running around in a movie that isn't straight to video...they have a
real limited palate to work with.

I can't believe they're going with Chris Evans as Captain America. John Hamm would have been a great choice. They need a guy who's a bit older than
the others, because Cap was around long before them. Evans was decent as the Human Torch, but I don't see him in this role at all.

I think it's mostly because FOX made FF, and there's rumors that the rights to FF have reverted to Marvel and they are going to do a total reboot.

I don't think Cap's as big as he was in The First Avenger. Which, by the way, was friggin awesome. Best superhero movie of the year IMO.

caps suit in first avenger was a millllllllion times better though. They made fun of the one that looks close to what they end up with here. Not

I'm glad they got a good actor to play Hulk. There for a while I was worried if Hulk would even be making an appearance....
the first few seconds could be have been from any action movie/transformers though...
