I think they'll play. I've been told that they have a back-up plan in place to make sure it happens. My only question is 'how good can it be?'. One is in Cali, two in NY, one in Canada. If they come back and practice and suck then does the show still go on? I'll probably just stick with the memories but I hope they get two sold out shows because, contrary to popular myth, these guys never got their due. They were always the opener and broke up only a few months after their record got released. They deserve to bask in the glory of a great album being celebrated by a massive audience. And then all those people that tell bullshit stories about seeing them live can finally say so without having to break eye contact.

Yup. Saw them open at the Elvis Room a few times and I am glad I did.

Was it Bridgewater? I thought it was another town down that way. That was March 99, right? Or thereabouts.

The Trouble:
Just to dispel the naysayers: This is definitely happening. All dudes in the band have our tickets booked and we are rehearsing in Boston for a week together prior to the event. 2005 was beyond our control, let us make up for it in 2010. See you there.

Ah, okay. I was living in Easton at that point, so Duxbury is well within my laziness factor for not being there. Plus I hadn't been fired from the radio station yet, so I would have been working nights. This is probably way more than you needed to know.

i'd trade all the "cred" of having seen the trouble and dkm play dozens of shows to small crowds if it meant i were 15 years younger. hell, even 10.

15 years younger in time? Because that would make it so the Elvis Room was still open... I'm down!

My old band 16 On Center played there a lot. I Loved Espresso Bar and WAG, QVCC, Club 490 in Fitchburg. Oh the memories of Central Mass.

Good punk/HC/oi shows coming up. Check out http://myspace.com/refuseresistband
