Without Rob, I'm not interested, but that's just me. His vocals were always my favorite in the band and I think most all of the material was written by him. Billy's cool IMO, but NOT as Rob's replacement in B4B.

I really like all parties involved. In fact, I probably listen to one of them every day. I would absolutely go see this band. It's all about the music. Will it be the same? Nah, but the music will be great. I wish them well

i'm one of the few people who isn't a big fan of Rob's vocals so i'm actually kinda curious to see this.

Pity it's on the Persistence tour though as those are shows are simply never any fun at all unless you are about 15 and have come to see Walls of Jericho drag that dead horse across Europe one more time.

Since all the best B4B material IMO was when Rob sounded exactly like Billy and wasn't doing the schtick...I'd actually love to see this. It's be like B4B w/o the theatrics and redundant banter. I know it'll never come here though.

I wonder what Rob thinks of it all since it is his band and all...

Not the same that's for sure but I'd still go without a doubt.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

I was about to say Ian as well but they had a chick on the early stuff before he joined. He's been in it long enough for me to be a true core member of BFB though.

Him and Buddha as far as originals and Rob wrote most of Buddhas lyrics. So yes, he is the band as far as creativity / creation goes.

I guess I just don't care enough about it to take some hardline stance of it being "his" band.

its kind of like if 3 guys from FEAR toured without Lee Ving. or if 3 guys toured as Murphy's Law without Jimmy G.

I don't think of it as a hardline stance, it's just the facts really.

Honus...those are two of the most silliest comparisons I've ever heard Lee Ving and Jimmy Gestapo to WT Rob and comparing that to this.

I get that Rob wrote the music...but seriously...

Did John Joseph write the music for Cro Mags? How come no one is getting up in arms about that stuff. If Buddha was going to bullshit people and call it "B4B jam" would that make everyone feel better about this?

When I saw them around Spit My Last Breath there was a band playing on stage...not Rob with a mic, accordion and drum strapped to his back. People are going to see a band play now...they're not promoting some new music...they're playing out.

Rob doesn't want to play out...that's fine...he's past it and in a different place...there's not a damn thing wrong with that.

I think people are just going way overboard and totally shitting on Buddhas contribution to the band by dismissing it as solely Rob's band.

Bottom line is there's a band with an original member and long standing member playing some shows with a KICK ASS fill in. Either go and enjoy the songs Rob created or don't.

No ones ever went to see a reunion show of a band where the principle songwriter has left? No ones ever listened to any rock bands who don't write thier own music? How many of you went to see ANY Misfits shows post Danzig?

At this point I'm going to dip out of this subject...there's some totally irrational fanboyism going on making grey area seem black and white...it's just some shows...I bet Rob cares less about this reunion than a lot of the people getting bent over it. I'd much rather see Buddha doing his own thing...but what are you going to do. Dudes want a check.
