Any fans of this band? I heard the album 1-2 months ago and have been listening to it pretty much every day since, start to finish.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isnít a style, genre or niche. Itís music that is genuine. Itís a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, itís a harrowing vocal, itís feedback, itís an anthem, itís a love song, itís anarchy. Iíve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesnít matter who or where it comes from... so long as itís good and it's real.

wasn't on of the dudes from Helmet in that band?

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

QUICKSAND as well. Ya decent stuff. This is another record I hated and then liked 10 years later.

Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

Great album. Had Tom Capone and Petey Hines as well as the guitarist from Helmet (name escapes me).
