i'm in themiddleoffuckingnowhere, indiana at the moment and had some killer blackberry pie tonight at a place called dick and judy's. they serve
breaded things and you're allowed to smoke inside, even though there are maybe 30 seats in the joint.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

Man, I miss real pecan pie. You can't get good southern food like that here in Colorado unless you know somebody who can really cook, bake, whatever.
I think at least 2/3rds of the decent restaurants back in Austin have pecan pie on the menu at least a good chunk of the year. Up here there might be
one place that will do it a couple times a year and it's barely worth eating anyway.
