East Coast..
So I am going to be around from August 11th until September 9th (may actually end up being later than September 9th as we're considering changing the
flights)
Im going to TIH and going to see Sleep play in Philly Sept 7th and Brooklyn Sept 8th, other than this, I dont have toooo much else planned as I was
meant to be going to San Fran but looks like that fell through.
Any shows or anything just good going on, let me know!

I'm bumping this back up for 2 reasons, firstly, still wana know if there is anything else happening in the time that I am over?
Also, I'm going to try look this up later but figured I would ask incase anyone here knows off the top of their head. Im flying into Newark, is there
any bus/train that can get me direct to Philly from there?
My friend was meant to be picking me up but has just found iout he has to work that night so I'm trying to figure if it's easy enough for me to get
straight to Philly or if it's better to stay in NYC at my friends for the night and get to Philly from there the next day?

Yeah I know I can do that, I've got buses from NY to Philly loads, I just wana know if I can get there kinda direct from Newark without going into the
city, otherwise I'm just gona crash in NYC for the night then go on Thurs. Basically I just wanted to avoid going into the city if I could as since I
was getting a ride before this was never my plan.

There is a show in Brooklyn on August 22nd with MINDSET, GET THE MOST, TRUTH N RIGHTS (Eddie Leeway's new band), HANDS TIED, ON and OUTLAST. I am
promoting it. My band (WAR ALL THE TIME) might play a few songs.

you can take a train from newark airport to philly. amtrak will get you there directly in about an hour for $50 (more depending on the time of day).
or you can take new jersey transit. it'll only be about $20, but it'll take nearly three hours and will require a change of trains.
You can do NJT planning here. just put in newark airport rail station and 30th street station:

Will prob go to that show in Brooklyn on the 22nd.
Not sure about the one on the 27th just because I know I'm going to one on the 28th somewhere in PA and will prob be staying in that area the night
before.
BD, Thanks my dear, that's perfect, I just wanted to know I had the option to get straight to Philly, depends on how late it is when I get out the
airport depends on what I end up doing I guess.
Wisdom In Chains and Cro-Mags are playing on a boat the night I arrive in NY but guessing I prob wouldnt make it there on time before it leaves

hey, m, can i put in a transatlantic courier request? (warning, it involves larceny!)
if you (or charlotte or you, matty!) are out at the bar before you go, would slip a branded pint glass or two in your pocket and smuggle 'em over for
me? you know, the kind that have the beer brand printed on the glass?
i have an excellent bombardier pint that i use all the time (below). i had another one that was completely cricket-themed, with a frosted batter and
an etched logo on the bottom. gave that one to a friend that was into it, though. lucky bastard...
anyway, if you think of it and you can hook it up, awesome. if not, don't sweat it.

Danny, I know I dont need a show to visit B'more!
I'll defo be in town for a couple of nights at least as I want to see Dom and the new family and you guys of course.
Duane, I will see what I can do!
Matty is more likely to be in a pub at some point before I leave so i'll ask him to keep an eye out.
If I get a chance before the weekend or after I get back from Germany then I will wander into a pub and try grab something for ya!
Is there any particular beer brand glass you want me to try and find?
Or anything else at all you want from London?

Cool, thanks!
Brand doesn't matter. Well, you know, not like Budweiser or Corona or Beck's. Preferably something British that we wouldn't see here.
If it doesn't come together, don't worry about it. Just bring me a Boost bar and I'll be happy!

I'm going to have a wander to the pub down the road from my house and little later and see what they got.
Boost, really Duane?! I hate them but I'll pick one up anyways!
Matty, I will not be responsible for importing your shit band!!
I'll grab it if we manage to link before I leave, I think I'm only free really maybe later today and next Tues daytime so worst case scenario just
leave a cd out in the front room and i'll pick it up when you;re at work if I have to.

I need to get you a Kinder Bueno! That is the good shit! Although Cadburys hands down is tastier than any american chocolate I have had, no offence!
I will bring you a Kinder Bueno and a Boost for you to compare and pray they dont melt.
So I just found out that at hostile city deathfest in Philly at the end of August and Exodus and Enthroned are playing, love both those bands so will
prob try hit up the last day of that.

I saw Malevolent Creation over here not toooooo long ago and they were awesome, they were supporting someone, cant remember who though.
Kinder Buenos are a popular choice with overseas people usually!
I send a box of stuff to a couple of my friends in Philly every few months containing Kinder chocolate (Buenos and Kinder Eggs usually!) Haribo sweets
and Monster Munch, always seems to go down well!
