new sheer terror poster?

Craig just posted this to Facebook.
Not sure what's it's being used for, but I love it.

heard from Craig this morning, it's not that much of a mystery... There was a possibility of him doing the flyer for the NY show... he got inspired and banged this out before he had confirmation on the job. Done.

I know some people aren't fond of the style of his stuff, but there's no denying he has shit tons of talent...and the guys a machine.

Most artists doing HC stuff...it's like pulling teeth even getting preliminary stuff back. Craig has 3 album covers done before his first cup of coffee.

you're absolutely right, jason.
he churned out like 12 or 15 different concepts for the business project we did. one was used as the cover, another modified for the back cover, a third used for merch. and we're still planning to do more merch based on those original comps.

People have been ripping on him for his artwork on the new NA ep. I think this design looks good. Then again, I'm a sucker for anything sheer terror/joe coffee related.

ripping on it? really? that's wash, dude's got talent.

Some of his pieces are a little soft for my taste (too much of the airbrushed look), but this one is a nice balance between that and the rougher, sketched look. the cigar club shirt he did for Sailor's Grave is cool cause it's mostly the rough hand illustration and just a little photoshop.

some of his stuff is amazing and he has HUGE talent, no doubt.

As far as the NA 7" I dont feel like the artwork fits the band that well, but thats not his fault at all!
The Sailors Grave shirt he did is awesome, I LOVE the Business crest logo shirt he did and I'm wearing it right now!
I think one of my favorites was the pinball machine he did (I think it was Madball and Suicidal Tendencies) that was an
amazing idea and great art!!

I'm not a fan of the AF Warriors artwork at all though.

the only problem i have with craig´s work is that he uses too many colours. he should do more b/w stuff like the inhuman shirt he did. looks in b/w much better than the coloured version the band had planned first.

not a big fan of the new NA cover....just 'cause I like the original the best, but I love the Sheer Terror flyer as well as a lot of his art. I think the Out For Revenge cover is fucking EPIC. Some of his stuff reminds me a bit of the cover my buddies the Wolf Bros. (2 members from the band Hour Of The Wolf- check them out too!) from Prescott AZ did for the Outbreak/Only Crime 7" on THINKFAST!. Anyway, check 'em out, they do some bad ass art www.myspace.com/thewolfbrothers

I like Craig's work, don't get me wrong..The flyer he did for JC/Stigma well over a year or so,ago, was great...I just don't want to have the same artist/type/style...UNLESS he comes up with something that really grabs me,and not in the way you fayg's fantasize about!!!!!!
