True Grit - remake


There's no way anything can come close to the original...it's completely untouchable.

But there is no denying this looks like one kick ass western.

Coen Brothers...The Dude as Rooster...good stuff.

True Grit is one of only a few John Wayne movies I actually like. Can't stand that dude most of the time. The remake looks promising.

Wasn't True Grit a book first? And I'd heard that the movie strayed away from the book fairly heavily, and that the Coen's were going to stick more to the source material. I'm banking on it being a lot harder, more gritty, etc.
