Happy Remembrance Day everyone

Please take a moment of silence and give a thought to the people who lost their lives as well as the ones that came back not quite whole in so many ways. If you've got a veteran in your life do something nice for them today will ya?

Not trying to be too political about this, but I thought this was a great post: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/aaron-sorkin/supporting-our-tr...

I give a donation to veterans charities this time every year. It's not much, but I hope it helps even in a small way. I have nothing but love and respect for veterans.

Thanks for the link, that was a good read. I absolutely love talking to veterans, but I also understand why some don't want to talk to someone who could never possibly understand. And as far as politicians paying lip service to respecting soldiers and failing to actually do so....well that's a topic for another day, as is people who don't understand that certain feelings on war does not equal lack of respect/concern for soldiers.

One more thing, I hope Bob is home with his family today, safe and sound. If you're out there buddy, hope things are good.
