I have best of XM and I only ever really listen to O&A and maybe the comedy channels through my computer at work. I guess if you want Howard Stern get
one of those Sirius packages, or if you want Opie & Anthony go with best of XM.
Well I've got a feeling I'm gonna get mine in. Retribution let the games begin.

Sirius is all you need BD. Stern rules all. I fully believe he will resign with Sirius.

I have just Sirius with no add ons. I also got the 'Lifetime Subscription' when Howard first signed on so I'm good forever.
My girfrlend has a Sirius radio on my account that she uses at work and she has a seperate XM account in her car cause thats what the car came with.
On her XM she has the 'Best of Sirius' package.
If you want the music and a few random things then pick either Sirius or XM based on the extras you like (Stern, Opie & Anthony, NFL, NHL etc). If you
want both then I think the Sirius with the best of XM gets you more than the XM with the best of Sirius, but I could be wrong.
If you want Stern... I would wait cause I'm not to sure if he will resign or not. I was with CR83 thinking he would until last week. I figure since he
didnt anounce he was staying on a LIVE show before 'Black Friday' that means that negotiations are not going that well. I think that Sirius/XM would
want people buying radios on the 'biggest shopping day of the year'.
If you know someone that has a subscription already you shhould get on theres. Additional radios (up to 4 oer account) are like 1/2 price.

so... 'sirius everything' then?
there are discounts if you buy more than one year, right?
what about listening on the computer, is that extra?
if the best of XM is sports and opie, i don't need it.
seriously, stern is talking about quitting again? when's his contract up? last time i listened to him regularly was when he was still on terrestrial
radio and was talking all that nonsense. i don't know the first thing about what's going on now, but i would be AMAZED if he did quit. it's all part
of his negotiation.

fuckin terrible

Howard is on LIVE 4 days a week, but has 10 weeks of vacation. His contract expires at the end of the year, but he only has 15 more LIVE shows before
hes done. He has talked about doing a podcast thing if he doesnt resign with Sirius, but nothing has been announced at all so far.
I think SIRIUS is your best bet and you dont really need the Best of XM, its not worth it.
To listen online they do charge you more, but they are so happy to get new subscribers they sometimes give you the online thing for free.
I think if you pay for 1 year you get 1 month free, but I'm not sure what you get free if you sign up for more than 1 year. I have the 'life time' so
it doesnt matter to me.

it's looking like sirius everything is the way to go for $12.95/mo.
pay for three years, get 9 months free; 2 years, 5 months free.
of course, you know those prices won't come down if he leaves.
the only reason i'm considering this is because the loaner we had for three weeks after the accident had satellite and we kinda got into it. and the
new ride has a satellite radio. i'm too cheap to buy one myself. of course, the only thing i ever really listened to was "40s on 4"...

Its funny that you posted this today because he just announced his contract renewal of another 5 years this morning at about 6:30am.

he will still have 2 channels, the show will still repeat all day & the show will still start at 6:00am and go until 10:00-11:00 depening how long he
chooses to go on any given day.
It sounds like the biggest change will be what he called a 'More Flexable Schedule' which I'm sure means more time off and possibly some 3 day weeks
or summers off.

When he did the work on Sal, was when I turned it on this morning. I totally thought he didn't resign. I didn't realize how much I rely on this
crazy radio show. So glad they are going to be back.
