Pissed I will miss the CLUTCH show in Cleveland this month. I have Robot Hive billowing out the itunes right now. You all hate this record, but I think its great.

"While you were busy lighting roman candles on the yellowcake
They shook you on down.
When the rain start falling, boatman calling,
Got to Shake 'em on down"

They could legitimately repeat that chorus over and over and it would make a great song.

man I haven't seen Clutch since 2002 I think.
I went just so I could get in to see Joe Coffee playing upstairs.

with that I must say, Strange Cousins has really grown on me in the last week.

I wish Clutch would do another record like their first one. They were pissed back then.

I'd like to take a moment, just sit right there, and I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-Air.

Sorry, first thing I thought of when I saw the title.

Agreed, I fucking love the original Clutch sound. I can dig most of what they've done since, but that first 7 inch will always be my favorite of theirs.

Oh I love that early stuff
gritty
raw
dirty
greasy
Pitchfork
Passive Restraints and the first LP is a different sound entirely.

I am a big fan of all their stuff except Beale Street.
Something about that record never grew on me

Try it again. It's not great CLUTCH, but it is damn good. I'm a fan of the newer stuff so....take it for what it is.
