I want to find out who made a certain painting. How can I find out
It is an older man on a small row boat holding a young child. The waters are real rough and they are sitting in back end of the small boat. The man is
wearing a yellow rain jacket/coat I believe. The child looks frightened, but the man is determined to protect her.
Over the summer while working security at the hospital I noticed it on a wall while doing rounds. It was in the Family Birthing Center. I always
glanced at it and it never left me. I want to find a print of it. Not sure where to look though.

The hospital got rid of them from what I was told. They remodeled the FBC area since I left. I told a guy I worked with how much I liked the painting
and supposedly they offered some of them to employees.

Damn, Clevo, you're making it difficult for us to help!
Did most of the artwork look similar? There's a good chance that everything was by the same artist (so that it looks nice on the wall, but everything
"matches" and doesn't distract you), so you can ask the guy you know or call the Family Birthing Center and ask them if they know who the artist is.
If you can find that out, you should be able to find his/her collection and then just have to search until you find the right one.
The other option is to post the name of the hospital, and some of us can search around online to try and find out if the artist's name is mentioned
online. If it's a local artist, it's probably somewhere online - likely in a local paper or mentioned on the artist's website.

From what I can gather most hospitals hang paintings by local painters. That's why a large percentage of them look like shit.
