Wine?
I know there's a few beer people on here but anybody on here into wine? My parents have been really into it for a year or so and my dad has been
making wine for about a half year now and has been sending a few bottles up my way when he can. Been really getting into it more and more. Anyone else
here enjoy a good glass?

I don't know the good from the bad except for the fact that the good has a higher price tag and the mad dog is in the fridge at the liquor store.....
I will however be drinking numerous bottles of wine at my girl's aunt's house tomorrow night.
she spoils us with such things.
she rules.

cheap wine gives me a headache.
good, expensive wine is great with a steak.
i much prefer to drink wine with a meal than beer.
i always keep a bottle of red wine in the kitchen to marinade meat and throw in tomato sauce. etc
it's great for cooking.

Other then to cook with, I don't touch red wine. Can't stand the taste. I only really like fruity light wines, I don't do expensive.... I don't know
anything about wine but the green lable Barefoot is my favorite. And only $6 a bottle or $10 for the big one.

I love wine and have been into it for a good five years now. The nice things about wine is you can find a bottle for $13 that is just as good if not
better then a bottle that costs $300. I am more into reds then whites and prefer my wine to be more on the dry and full bodied side. The best wines
for the price are from Chile and Argentina and many of those wines you will find are dry and full bodied. California has some amazing reds as does
Canada and Italy. Wine is a great hobbie and one I will continue to enjoy for a long time. It also makes food so much more interesting, when you pair
up a bottle of wine with the perfect meal there is nothing better.
BKT.

I don't mind it. I even have picked up a few bottles here and their, but not really into it. I like going to wineries and learning shit though.
Especially when they have tastings where you can get ripped. That is the bomb.

^BKT sounds like the man to ask on this one, there's a lot you can learn reading about wine & hearing other knowledgable people's opinions, I need to
start reading up on it. I can tell customers all about variations in liquor for days, but when it comes to wine I choke up a bit & look for another
employee who knows more. A lot of stores have signs with the ratings next to the bottle, & that's always something to look at

Everything Matt said, with one small exception.
Been drinking Malbec almost exclusively for the last year.

I've been enjoying wine more as I grow older.
It goes well with meals and cheeses and appetizers.
I am no expert on such things, rely on other's good tastes, and never purchase it.
I have become a Stout / Porter hound in the last few months beer wise.
Theres too much good stuff coming thru my local bar to keep track of.
I will be enjoying some wine tonight at my girl's aunt'a house out in Downingtown with some mozarella towers, shrimp and other delicious foods.
Ha I opened a bottle last year with a screw and vice grips because we did not have a corkscrew......
