I'll have to check out some of these, the ones that caught my eye the most were the Vinnie Paz, Merle, & Willie albums, & The Corps I've never heard, but it sounds like something I'd enjoy & I love that album artwork.

Dude The Corps are so good. They have three full length albums out and they are all amazing.

Great list, I'll be checking out a few. But damn, no Kill Devil Hills?

It was a toss up between that and the Slaine mix tape. I am a huge Slaine fan so I went with the Slaine album instead.

Pretty interesting list. Just to be sure, Vinnie Paz isn't the former boxer from Providence, right? That's a different guy? Because I might want to hear a Vinnie Pazienza record, just for the lolz.

Yeah, I'm a bigger Slaine fan too. Check out the song Devil's Bandit on this Falside mixtape if you haven't heard.

I can't remember hearing 15 minutes of much that's memorable this year yet alone 15 albums worth.
I'm not nearly as "with it" as some of you guys though

I don't think I bought too many new albums this year, mostly older stuff. Bulldog Courage was a great pick, SOIA as well.

That's a pretty diverse list of albums. I still gotta listen to that Watain album, heard lots of good things about it.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

the whole band is good people.

they stayed at my house one night after a show in phoenixville. the next day my kids were super stoked to have new people to play with...at, like, 7:30 in the morning. they were good sports about the wake up call after all of three hours of sleep!

my wife made baked french toast with peaches and almond slices.
