the whole movie im like "ugh, theres dave navarro...fuck him".....then its..."but theres joan jett, thats cool".....then im like "fuckin slash?...christ"....then i'm like "oh theres mick jones, nice"....

so i guess they did ok with the balance of people talking about lemmy
i'd rather have seen more interviews with the people at the shows.
i enjoyed those parts a lot more than fucking metallica talking about anything
other than total comedy, metallica is not worth a shit
never really were but really are not at this point

they could follow him around for 90 minutes while he scratches his ass and i'd watch it.
dave navarro... not so much.
at least now i don;t feel like i need to run out to the troc to see it.

Navarro is a fucking douche. Dude shows up anywhere to whore around. He was backstage at a comedy show I was watching on netflicks. Just playing guitar on a couch getting high while everyone was talking. It reminded me of highschool in someones basement. THe stoner made background music to hang out.

like i said, it's def. ok....
i would watch it again
but probably just to make fun of all the "rock" that is involved with some of the people in it
i did enjoy the parts with him jaming with that dave grohl dude.
that dude, while i dont care much either way about most of his music, seems like a stand up dude.
and he can play drums like no ones bizz

I am half way through it.

I could do without all of the LA/Hollywood hoopla they attach to it.

I could just watch Lemmy play that trivia machine at the bar for two hours and be cool with it...

THe LEMMY documentary I watched did not have any of these people in it. Maybe I watched something differnet. The one I saw was the 2003 tour where some 23 year old chick followed him around.

^^^^^ It was cool because it was very personal with Lemmy. He talks of all the drugs and his opinions of them. What he does while not playing. You see that dude is really in bad shape with the booze. He is suffering. He talks of his family and the kids he selfishly did nothing for. That was pathetic and the reason I have a distaste for him now on. Ddue seems really broke and i have no clue how that is. What a fucking waste.

Yeah, could probably care less what he does in his personal life. The great humanitarians and familymen of the world didn't write Overkill.

I liked it. Thought it was well done. Best part was when Lemmy was asked what his favorite thing is in the apartment, and he says my son. That moment alone makes it perfect.

^^^^^^^^^ I think that what you surround yourself with is who you are. When you think of what it is that you enjoy and who has created it? Where did it come from? I aint asking for a saint to sing Motrohead tunes, but don't turn your back in a child that needs. The ego has kept him from responsibility. Thats fucking weak in my book. No matter what song they wrote, BOMBER included. I guess I expect more more from people, but so does a child missing their parent.
