That's terrible. I can't even imagine, my parents are in their mid 50s... Christ. So sorry :(

He wasnt sick, was only in his mid 50′s and it was a total shock to everyone. As of now we’re still not sure what happened, but he had the day off from work and after his wife (my girlfriends mom) left for work he just never got up. She got home from work at about 5:00pm and he was still in the bed.

Hey Josh, condolences to you and your girlfriend. Telling someone something like that is really hard. I had to tell one of my good friends that a friend of ours had died back when I just got out of highschool, it was real hard.

Josh, man I am sorry to hear this bro. I agree, they must have felt conficdent in you to deliver such a message to her in a mature fashion. Common sense would say that as we age we have to do things like this more often, but you never think of it until you actually do. Give her the strength to deal with such a loss especially if she we really close to him. She will need it. Times like this really matter in a relationship much more than any other. Be her rock.

Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

Wake was yesterday. Funeral was today. Man it was hard. Brought back a lot of memories about my grandparents passing away.

Time heals all wounds I guess. Hang in there Furly.
