Gummo, that movie was painful.

WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT? The creator of that shit must be shot.

I just wasted 20 minutes reading wiki about this piece of shit. Nothing good comes from the filth that douche bag creates. That is not creative, that is a drug addicts manifestation.

Awesome! I loved Gummo and "inflicted" viewings of it on many people. I see Clevo is a fan.

everyone I know hates Gummo except me....I saw this message board title & then came across on Netflix right afterwards & added it to my queue before reading this. I have one room mate who seriously will probably start puking if it's anything like/more disturbing than Gummo.

On the wiki page it stated that netflix banned it or something.

I just watched the first 20 minutes of this at lunch. Has even less of a "story" than Gummo soo far. If you like Gummo it seems like it is worth checking out and experiencing. If you hate / dislike Gummo at all, run from this (as if you couldn't figure that out from the trailer). I am sure there are gonna be some gems in this film since I saw 1 soo far. Nothing as great as the chair fighting scene yet, but I can only hope!

I gave it about 20 minutes before I turned it off...it'd be a great background movie for a party...but I could not watch an hour & 18 minutes of it

I made it about 1/2 way thru viewing it a little bit here and there and then totally gave up. Nowhere near as "engaging" as Gummo.

It is MUCH different than Kids. I love the movie, but I know why a lot of people don't. There is not another movie like it, that's for sure! It is not a movie that you can say one way or another if it is "worth it" or not. My best description of Gummo is it is a "White Trash Documentary" though it is not a docu. I would say it does and doesn't have a story. There are kinda 2 "main" "story lines" and some other little "side stories" of sorts. I did not even pic up on the movie actually have much of a story until I watched it the 2nd time.

I have watched it countless times and have even watched it with Subtitles (which brings out some garbled "gems" from some of the nuckledraggers) as well as with the directors comentary which is quite bizare and talks about most of the casting being done at a local Burger King as well as him talking aobut throwing himself thru a plate glass window.

I recomend this movie to everyone and no one at the same time. ;)

Gummo is a fucked up film...but defiantly worth checking out. It's a movie that sticks with you waaayy after you've turned it off....some great scenes. Trash Humpers is complete shit.I tried my best to watch the entire movie, thinking something would happen making it worth my time...but I turned it off a little over halfway in. I didn't care too much for Julian Donkey Boy either. But Kids was great.

Exactly. Only I ALMOST made it half way. Julian Donkey Boy was a big waste of time too.

I was thinking about it...this movie really seems only appropriate for a visual backrground to watch while I get drunk & play records....
