Late edit: Apparently the majority of views are people like us making fun of it Not because people dig it.. though Simon Cowell does and she's killing it on iTunes with this song too.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

this is like the perfect impulse buy. the combo that is a crap song like this and itunes allows people to watch the video, laugh and make fun of it,
and for a mere $0.99, buy the song instantly to keep the joke going a little longer.
'why not, it's only 99 cents' x however many hundreds of thousands = more cash any of us will ever see.
up to 21.7M views.
that's 5.9M views in 23 hours.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.
I wanna find out how YouTube calculates a view. Is it when the page is loaded, when the video reaches that little yellow line, when the video is
fully buffered?

just read that this girl is only 13 and that her parents paid some kind of video-making factory of a company to put the vid together. hope she's
dealing with the negative reaction ok. i mean, yeah, it's bad, but this isn't some spoiled, thick-skinned, child starlet - she's just some kid.
That's pretty much what the Daily Mail link I posted above said She has been
getting threats and all sorts of shit.

Yeah, it's sorta unfortunate that she is being singled out, while other artists produce horrible music on a norm. She is 13, what sorta music was the
public expecting? I wonder if she even wrote the lyrics for this song to begin with.

I saw her on LENO the other night and she seems like a airhead. It was almost painful to watch because she really is a inncent 13 year old. Not a
thing mean or sneaky about her. She even said she cried a bit because of the negative reviews, but that her song is a positive message and that makes
her happy. I immdeiately regretted posting a few negative posts abou tit on youtube, but the thread was moving so damn quickly I had to get in on it.
As soon as you posted it was already off the page.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.
