One of the times I saw DKM these guys were one of the openers. Picked up a cd to check them out first and didn't really care for it. They were mildly entertaining, but I doubt I'd go see them even if it was free.

saw them in 01 & then watched a show through the side door of a club in 08, they put on a good show. Don't think I'd drive to Denver for it (6-8 hours of mountains), but if I was closer I'd for sure check one of 'em out. I'm pretty selective with the poppier bands (as I would consider them), but I dig these guys

I saw Austria, thought it said Australia. Now I'm bummed.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Not too interested in their music at this point. I will give them lots of credit for being THE nicest bunch of guys in a band I ever dealt with back when I was putting n shows in Austin. I was into their first few records and they always used to put on a great show way back when I last saw 'em. I will say that they are some talented musicians and some hard working and dedicated guys, just not feeling their sound at this point.
