I wonder how much of that goes to a certain non tax paying corporation that has won 10.2 billion dollars in military contracts during the last 5 years.

Any time I think conflict I immediately go for billions, not millions.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

I feel bad for everyone with kids but I the world is going to end. Not the 2012 thing, but there is so much war, natural disasters, un-natural disasters, poverty, middle class people becoming poor..... I think were fucked.

yep.....though I'm glad to see good parents, like everyone with kids on here seems to be.....because we'll need people like them in the world. My parents said the same thing, they feel sorry for the new generation......shit is fucked & it's only gonna get worse

I really think were in a lot of trouble. I know that past generations have probably felt the same there were two world wars that the globe survived, there was the cold war, lots of bad stuff has happened but this just seems like too much at once. Famin, war, poverty, unemployment, obesity, health issues, racism, anger, hate, apathy etc etc etc.

What I have is supposed to be a good paying job but things are so expensive that there are still times I struggle and please believe me I know A LOT of people have it far worse than I do! I just see People I work with that make the same money yet they go to Disney world twice a year, have 2-3 kids, have multiple 60+" tvs, giant gas guzzling pick up trucks and they have no concern for money at all! I don't know how they do it!

i hear ya, honus. i feel no need to keep up with the joneses, but i'm endlessly curious as to how the joneses afford to do what they do. goes to show, you just never know what someone's situation may be - they could have family money, they could be charging the hell outta everything, they could be gangsters, they could just be spending every dime they make. the one that i have a hard time with is multiple vehicles. who can afford a car payment, insurance, gas AND repairs on more than one vehicle?
