9 year old boy saves his 2 year old sister

This kid is my hero! If you don't know CPR, you should. ESPECIALLY if you have kids

Tristin Saghin might only be 9 years old, but he knew just what to do after his 2-year-old sister was found floating in her grandmother's swimming pool unconscious Sunday.

"I went running outside ... and I did CPR on her," the boy told affiliate KNXV in Mesa, Arizona.

While his mother and grandmother frantically called for help, Tristin coolly performed chest compressions and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

His sister started breathing again, he said, and paramedics soon took it from there. She is going to be OK.

Tristin told the television station that he learned CPR by watching television and that he would do anything for his little sister.

"She's really beautiful," he said. "I love her really much."

Great stuff

The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, ?You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I?m just not close enough to get the job done.? George Carlin

Being in the military it is a bi- annual requirement for us to become certified. Believe it or not the procedures change pretty frequently and it is always good to know. The Red cross offers a free course and I believe most recreation centers (YMCA etc....) do as well. You never know when you would need it and you would not want to face a situation where you did but didn't know it. Scary
