If you have anything local that I can't get, I wouldn't be opposed to a trade. I have '09 and '10 Dark Lords left too.

They're having chance to buy barrel aged versions tomorrow also...

–Darklord aged in Pappy Van Winkle 23 year barrels
–Darklord aged in brandy barrels
–Darklord aged in brandy barrels with vanilla beans
–Darklord de Muerte, DL aged in bourbon barrels with ancho and guajillo peppers

$50 a bottle, if I get a chance I'm buying one and listing it w/ a $200 buyout on eBay that night to cover my whole DLD trip. Only 666 (166ish each) of those varieties...some butthole will pay through the nose for one of those no doubt.

There are some decent brews made in NC, if you take a look on Beer Advocate or something and see something you want for a trade let me know, and I will try to get it.

Never heard it, but it looks tasty.

Damn you Jason, have a good time at DLD. Any chance you can set one aside for another trade?

Oddly enough I haven't even tried this years yet. it was EXTREMELY well organized compared to previous years but there were some other good taps and an absence of DL taps so I enjoyed a couple glasses of FFF "Evil Power" which was an Imperial Pilsner and saved the DL.

It started getting very crowded around noon so we had some beers and got the hell out of dodge...

This was the line to get into the brewpub (on the right against the tent)...hours...to just get in the door at that point....never mind getting a seat or being served.

Not sure why people try to get in there...even if they have the full menu.

The whole "event" area was about that deep but 5x as wide as the pic. 6000 tickets sold.

Nice score! You'll have to give us a report when you crack one.

I popped one open today, seems very similar to the '09, sweet with lots of currants/wine feel too it. I liked the '10 a little better...but I only had a tiny little snifter so far. I'll nurse the bottle over the next couple days.
