SLUMLORDS INTERVIEW DONE BY DWID

Dwid: Would you evict Rick Ta Life if necessary?

Dom: It wouldn?t be different than evicting the media aisle at an office depot, except all the cdrs have been recorded on.

Dwid: Wouldn?t Rick turn the curb into a flea market to spite you? "Step right up ladies and Gentlemaaan!"

Dom: No, No, No - You have it all wrong! It would be more like ?Yo Yo Check this out...mad rare Yo?

Dwid: That?s american ingenuity at his most extreme

Dom: Absolutely

I redid the layout again and added new sections. Links have returned as well as a contact, radio, and blog section.

-----------------------------------------------------------
MEDIA UPDATES
Video: 2 clips of Have Heart and 1 clip The First Step from Connecticut
Stills: Verse and Youth Attack?as well as some Tripface pics I scanned from my old photo albums. Check me out, young and skinny!
Fliers: My buddy Sean Green of Brick by Brick lent me his fliers to scan, some classic Albany and Troy shows.

-----------------------------------------------------------
FEATURED RECORD: Think I Care- ?Mongrel?

?I have watched band after band try to ape the whole ?NY hardcore? sound, often coming close but never fully getting it. This record gets it, and does it so well that you would swear it came out in 89, not 2004. It doesn?t sound like a bunch of kids trying to relive the past. There is enough heart in this that it feels like the real deal.?

FEATURED MP3: STRESS CRACKS
The Truth Hurts- The Truth Hurts

Good interview with Dom and Dwid. I used to see Dom here in Toronto all the time when he was with Day Of Mourning as they opened for damn near every band that came to town.

Dom was here on the 19th with Ringworm!
I forget what site the interview is on but there's an old one with Dom & Jeff, Jeff's answer were fuckin hilarious. It's one of the first they did I think.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.
