Cicadas Anyone? Aka Loud Ass Bugs in Our Trees
Any of you got these fucking' things this year?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magicicada
We are getting the 13 year brood this year. Every morning I bet I have 15-25 shells or newly molted bugs on the front of the house. The back door will
have 10-15 as well.
My dog will eat them if they make a move but man, they make a shit load of noise.
Here they are coming out of the ground:

All summer long here, in the tree in our backyard, which I'm directly beside. I have to close windows/doors to try & drown the sound out.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

^^^^^^ That sound reminds me of my Gramps old farm house in Wellington, Ohio. He had 55 acres and Cicadas were always around during the summer months.
I think they always came around during July or something. Were I was from and still am, I never saw em. Too city of Cicadas I guess. Man I miss that
farmhouse.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.
