Ipods and ID3 tags......
Is there any apps out there that can go thru my ipod and rename all my songs/albums correctly? And find doubles?
There has to be something out there......

At one time I found an iTunes program that eliminated doubles from when I would transfer from one PC to another. This guy had a bunch on his site for
DL. Let me see if I can find some shit

For Windows:
Tag & Rename 3.5.6
* Powerful tagging software, allows automation and batch retagging of files.
MP3tag v2.46a
* http://www.mp3tag.de/en/
* Freeware alternative to the above, contrary to the name this can also retag a host of other file formats including FLAC.
For Mac:
Tag - http://sbooth.org/Tag/
PicardTagger - http://musicbrainz.org/doc/PicardTagger
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Mike knows his warez lol. I used Tag&Rename when I was going through my collection last. I only made it up to D or E. Now I just dump crap into
iTunes and tag whatever's missing tags, less time/effort.
