Good stuff to watch on Netflix Instant...

I know there is some hate for Netflix right now with the coming price hike, but I just went in for emergency surgery (internal hernia) this past weekend and need some stuff to watch. Any suggestions? Here is a list of some of my favs...

The Signal
He-Man (Yeah, that's right!)
Dumb & Dumber

My brain is drugged up on pain meds right now so I can't think of much... I have also just started watching "How I met your mother" which is not instant stream, but I had never seen it and heard good things. Watched the whole 1st season back to back yesterday and started on season 2.

For a more serious type show would you suggest Sons of Anarchy pr Breaking Bad? I have heard great things about both but not sure which one to try and get into first.

X-Men the animated series(90s)
Spider-Man the animated series(90s)
Spider-Man(60s)

Some DC Animated stuff like Batman Under the Hood and Superman/Batman Apocalypse and Superman: Doomsday.

Weeds
LOST
Eureka
The Dresden Files(not as good as the books, but a cool noir-ish urban wizard detective show)
Nartuo(yeah, I like Naruto)
Phineas & Ferb(give me a break, I'm a big kid and I like cartoons and I have a 5 year old)
Spartacus(Starz show)

The Fighter
Goemon
Merantau

There's actually lots of stuff on there.

Also, I love How I Met Your Mother. There's something insanely funny about gay Neal Patrick Harris playing a womanizing asshole. Plus, Allison Hannigan is hot. Especially in the seasons where she had some baby weight on... damn fine.

Jericho is on there? I may need to queue it up, haven't watched it in a while... though I've been reading the comic Jericho Season 3: Civil War as it comes out.

artist David Choe travelling across the country for free via trains, hitchhiking, boats & whatnot, meeting fellow road warriors along the way. Great music here & there (Fucked Up is one). I highly recommend it

Find out if they show X-Men in the aired order from FOX or in the original intended order the script writers did. If it's TV order it'll fuck up the story line. Pissed me off.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

They are in the script order, rather than the production/airdate order that Fox did. So are the DVDs that were released a couple years ago.

Wicked. My media scraper pulls from thetvdb based on air date, no way to select the DVD release order which they also index :( Makes for a lot of manual fuckery.

^^^^ I introduced my 6 year son to Dumb and Dumber and we laughed out asses off. The dog van and the fart jokes had him rolling. Especially the toilet seen.

I'm hooked on this show right now. The man use to watch it and I thought it was stupid, when he moved in the DVR was already recording 2 things when it was on so he had to give it up....
Now he's pissed that I'm watching it without him. :fake sniffle:
