Psyched.
The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, ?You know, I want to set those people over there on
fire, but I?m just not close enough to get the job done.? George Carlin

Walking Dead related... My best friend Bill got me into the comic book so when I took him on as my best man I thought I would try to get him some
original artwork from the comic book. I went on legit sites that sold pages from the artists and the lamest pages without any zombies or main
characters were $85+ (any good pages cost hundreds) and I had a budget to try to stay under since weddings cost A LOT.
I found a way to contact a few of the artists so I hit them up and told them My situation and asked about how much a simple zombie sketch would be if
they had the time. Charlie Adlard who is one of the main artists got back to me and said he had comic con coming up and a bunch of work ahead of him
so he would not be able to meet the deadline for the wedding (October 23rd). I asked him if he could do it for his birthday instead (April 8th) and
he said for me to hit him up after the holidays and he would see how his schedule was. Somewhere within these emails I asked if he could do a sketch
of Bill as a zombie instead of just a random zombie.
Holidays came and went so I hit him up and he said he was supposed to get a script to work on some more pages and they never came so if I get him the
pictures he would do the sketch that night. So, I rushed him some pictures of Bill and the next morning he sent me this...
I was fucking PUMPED and jelous so I sent him an email back thanking him up and down and told him of my jealousy and asked if he could do one of me
and he said "Okay, send me your ugly mug!" and he sent me this the next day...
FUCKING BADASS!!! I "paid" for these by making a donation that he requested to make but I will say, it was less then one of the pages and is custom
art of Bill and I. Better than I could have ever expected to get!

WOW Monty! Did Charlie send the actual art to you or do you have the digital copies only? As much as I loved Tony Moore's work in the beginning of the
series, it does not match the emotional depth that Charlie brought to the book. That is really coolman, I have a few Eric Powell (The Goon) originals
but had always wanted to collect more original stuff. Charlie A is definitely on my list of wants as well as Mike Mignola, Tony Moore, Sam Kieth and
my favorite Batman artist, Kelley Jones.

Good episode.
On a side note, I had no idea Darabont was fired.

I really enjoyed the first part of the new season.
Very tense in places.
They really fucked up by showing a pretty crucial plot spoiler in the preview for next week's episode though. Bit of a schoolboy error there.
-edit
one other thing, i was chatting about this with a friend.
in the first series, they worked out that if they smear zombie guts all over themselves they don't get noticed (until they start sweating it off or it
rains). how come they don't do this shit all the time and just roll with a big pot of zombie guts in the van?
or better still, cover the whole van in guts?
