Did I just see this on local news?

I am at work and walking through the ER and one of the TV's had the news on. They said a toddler in China was run over by a truck and no one helped her. She lay ran over and on floor of a what looks like a market of some sorts. People literally walked around her on video and even looked at her. Eventually someone picks her up like a heavy piece of clothing. She supposedly ended up dying. WHAT HE FUCK IS GOING ON IN THE WORLD? WHY?

And the video was on the local Cleveland news.

Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

happened a couple days, maybe a week ago. she was run over twice and left lying in the street as dozens of others passed by. this is the middle of the day, mind you. after something like 15 minutes, someone picked her up and took her to the hospital. i think i read she just passed yesterday or today. real sad stuff.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

Baffled me. China is still a wildcard to many people; you can expect anything from there. I don't know if this is something cultural or people there are equally appalled by it.
