As much as I hate to suggest it, if you have a hot topic store locally you could try there. I had to search all over for the last SOIA album and
thats the only place I could find it in my area.

I did and they douchbag working was like O ya sick of it all? Let me see. With a smirk. He comes back no we didn't get it. He then says "it was
released last year". I walked out the fuck out. I wasn't about to argue with a fucking hipster with tight pants that were sagging. O, he also wore
lime green shoes too. What a fag.
And whats with the smirk when addressing SOIA? What is he/it above that band? FUCK THESE ASSHOLES ANYMORE!

/not a fan of the place but its one of my only options up here. I just go in, don't talk to anyone, see if they have what I'm after, and get the hell
out.

Can't it just be ordered online? Postage is probably cheaper than gas anyway.

the music we listen to just isn't in mainstream stores any more. so many fewer people are actually buying music, stores are stocking way less and
they gotta stock what they know they can sell. same hold true for hot topic. they know their customers buy and that's what they stock.

Newbury Comics has been slowly but surely leaving their punk/hardcore roots behind as more and more of their stores show up in malls and such. I get
it, they're a business, they gotta do what they need to do. But it's still kinda sad. I prety much have to order everything from Interpunk or Amazon
these days.
I'm thinking North Attleboro could use a good indie book/music store...

I can see someone wanting the actual hard CD or record in their hand, I get that. But the thrill of record stores for me was going in and flipping
through CD's or albums and browsing for hours.
Walking into a Best Buy or a Hot Topic to buy one CD is about as romantic as going through a McDonalds drive thru...I'd much rather order something
direct from a band or label if I really want the hard product. At least the money is going right to the source, not to mention saving me the headache
of dealing with shit head condescending employees, traffic, wasting time/gas etc.

I haven't had a music store worth seeing in a decade around here.
maybe there is something in Philly that I don't know about.
I also used to love going thru every bin searching for a treasure, but it's been ages...
i just get stuff online.
I'd buy everything online if it made sense. just because I hate shopping.
I like getting mail.
I get it in a week and it pleases me to find it there upon coming home from work.
I went to bestbuy to get something recently cuz I had a gift card and the cd section was teeny tiny now.
they did however have some fancy Ozzy Blizzard Of Ozz records for collectors or something.....not sure who'd be buying that nonsense

I find it's usually cheaper to order online than to go into some shitty chain store and buy it there, and that includes shipping to Canada.

Ya, I'm going to order it. I jsut found it today at a HMV or whatever in a mall over 30 miles away. THey had one copy for $18.99. Sorry, but I'm not
paying that. The money doesn't go to the band. Thats some shitty markup.

RevHQ gets almost all my CD orders these days.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

I hope they have a few at the show we are playing with them November 27 in Providence. I like to buy direct from bands, then I know they at least see
a little moola instantly.

if you want to buy it, try to get the cd/dvd version. the dvd contains the "the story so far" video the first time on dvd. definately worth it.

Ordered the cd through Century media and just got a notice that it will be shipped tomorrow and to allow 2-4wks. WTF? I ordered it on the 15th. It's
fucked up, you can't buy it in stores because no one stocks it. Only way is itunes and I'd like to have the actual cd and not just a file of it.
Besides I wanted the copy of the story so far. I don't know who to be mad at as I have no idea what the politics and shit is with running labels and
distributing to stores, but its fucked up trying to get new music these days. Not like it used to be.
