I was reading about these guys last week. Sounds promising.

I'm not blown away by this. Haven't many banks let you do BillPay for free for several years?

I can see how this is great for business-to-business (B2B) transactions, which are their biggest source of revenue. I can also see how this is good for small businesses that may find it hard to get listed on BillPay services (and it would be too much of a hassle for a customer to add them directly for one-off purchases). For individuals, they mention rent as a good example... but isn't it easy to set up an automatic monthly bank transfer with no fees? Maybe not, given all the new fees and my lack of regular US banking.

Seems cool, but little more than the electronic version of Walmart's flat-fee for cashing checks instead of charging a percentage. And if it takes off enough, I would expect an increase in the flat-fee charge or moving towards a percentage-based charge.

Please read and, if you can, help out a friend: http://www.gofundme.com/jacobmedical.

I thought Flattr was the paypal killer. All of them suck, all of them are dirty scams to fuck you over. even bit coins are retarded. Glad I don't have to run a business on paypal any more. Lost well over $8000usd in paypal fees in 2 years, even more with their sketchy fucking currency rates 3 cents below official rates.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.
