I always said I wasn't going to buy any band decks because I'd end up buying a ton of them. Then along came the ST decks and I had to have them, although that dude charges an arm and a leg for shipping stuff.

He's made a lot of money from me. ST is the only band that I'll splurge on.

The discharge-ink shirts cost to make, hence the price...I'll claim ignorance on shipping charges, because I don't deal with this stuff (outside of designs) at all.

Franko's my merch partner, and I'm sure he's not out to tax anyone for no reason. It's not like he's got an army of minions out there doing the pick-up/sorting/delivery for him. The guy does have an actual job, outside of Dead City.

Skate decks are a lark, for me. Never have, most likely (at 43 going on 44) never will. Most people that I know, who buy them, just hang them on their wall. I'd get a kick out of a kid actually skating one, even if it's not my deal whatsoever.

On another note..

We're still writing for the Lp. I'd like to be in the studio by the end of this coming Winter, but I am not going to rush this. It means too much for all involved to do that. I'm NOT going to put out a half-assed,half-cocked,half SHIT record. Regardless of never hearing the end of it from all who'd buy it,it would be an insult to myself and my band members.

JoeCoffee is SLOWLY,but surely writing new material. I've no idea where it's going to go,but we WILL play out a very few, select dates within a year. That's all I can say about that, without lying.

Blah,blah,blah....Buy a reggae record.

Paulie

Will learn to Tap Dance,eventually...Will have you broads Hula,definitely...Trust me,you'll see.

last order I got from Dead City had a ton of extra stuff in it! I ordered 3 ST shirts and I got a few 7"s from bands I hadnt heard before, a demo CD of a band I didnt know and a ton of photocopies of old flyers. I wont pay for stuff from many bands at this point, but Sheer Terror is one of them!

cant wait for more new stuff from ST and JC!

Good news on the Joe Coffee front, and ya know you'd have to play Philly just on account of how we rule.
Gonna go check this shirt yous are speaking off cuz somehow I missed that conversation.
I'd buy a deck, but I know it would just end up in a pile of all kinds of other stuff I have in storage in hopes of hanging in the basement of a home I would like to own someday....maybe when I am 50 (37 now)

Every shirt's the same price...all over print or not.

I've dealt with Dead City a lot in the past...I'm not knocking John, he's been doing this for a long time and is just trying to keep it rolling.

Just saying $25 for a tshirt is painful.
