i am going to a couple of shows there next weekend. is there anything good to do around there in the daytime?

Place is a fucking shithole. The kind of area that you have to ask for the key to use the bathroom at Dunkin Donuts. I went there on a road trip
with some friends going to a concert and it is the first and only place I have ever been propsitioned by a lady of the night.

It's pretty dead down there this time of year and yeah, the neighborhood is pretty shitty. Red Bank is not far, there's places to eat, a record store
and Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash which is Kevin Smith's comic book store. There's really nothing to do in Asbury during the day. What shows you
going to?

When and where are the Street Dogs playing?
It will be dead this time of year, which makes parking a fuckton easier.
On the boardwalk there is a place called the Silverball Museum which is a pinball museum.

The Paranormal Bookstore is a little off the beach strip, near some overpriced antique shops. The antique shops do have some cool shit so it might be
worth a look, just don't buy anything unless it is a gotta have item.
I have been told it has been cleaned up quite a bit, all the times I have been there I have not been bothered but there are plenty of shady characters
wandering around so be aware.

io wanted to go as soon
as i saw about it,.but i didnt want to go by myself. gaslight popped up and the guys i hangout with all were saying they were going to gaslight. so i
ended up with 2 tickets and they fucked around and never got theirs. of course i planned way too ahead and already bookrd my room is nonrefundable.
the wife and i are seperated and in the last week or so have just started talking again. i am going to try to figure out this weekend how to come up
withj some cash for philly. and tickets are still available.

No offense to anyone that lives there but, worst place.
I was seeing a guy that lived there for a bit so was there often and it sucked.
Would always find excuses to go elsewhere.
