Wow I really don't pay attention. Umm of the very limited stuff I actually bothered to listen to:
Unholy Majesty - Demo
Stolen Youth - Dark Century
What I haven't heard yet but looking forward to hearing eventually, I got high hopes for this stuff:
Darkest Hour - The Human Romance
Ringworm - Scars
Ringworm/Mindsnare split if this is out/coming out before year end
Counterparts - The Current Will Carry Us
This Is Hell - Black Mass
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

I had to really think about it but I think the only punk album I bought this year is by Burning Streets.

I spent a good chunk of my money this year on Rockabilly releases than on Punk releases. Whatever Punk releases I bought this year were bands from the
80s/90s that I missed out on the first time around. I don't know if it's just me, but I haven't heard any new bands that have gotten my attention the
past few years with exception of a few local Long Island bands such as The Rebel Dead, Those Hated Hearts, and Ten Pints In. However, the one new
release that keeps making it back to my turntable is "Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes"-Social Distortion. I just love the way that records sounds.

if memory serves, Those Hated Hearts is good stuff
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.
