I heard about this on NPR. The guy who created the site sounded like a huge douchebag. He pretty much said he doesn't feel bad for ruining people's
lives because the site makes him lots of money. At the end of the interview the interviewer asked, "so, if someone submitted a picture of your sister
or your mom would you post it?" He answered, "NO! Why would I want to see a picture of my mom? Seriously." The interviewer just kept quiet and
then said "Hunter...... We're done."

and clevo, no, it's not likely that they would be able to gather any personal info about you just by visiting their site. from a technical
standpoint, things like that are possible, you'd need to do something foolish like click to install some plugin a site told you was required (when in
actuality, it's software that raids your machine). this site has photos sent in, then they do research on/offline to verify who the person is.

^^^^ Na, nothing like that. I'm more worried about them getting personal info like accounts and shit. As some of you may have noticed I hardly ever
click on any sites simply because I don't want to ruin my machine. I'm too cheap. Plus the wife uses the same computer for coupons and I don't want
anything remotely like that to show up.

much can get it anywhere.

Yeah, some of that crap leaks thru the ad networks that sites use. I used to not use ad blockers because I figure if I was hitting up the site, they
chould get my ad revenue but then I got a virus from a site I thought was 100% safe and now use ad blockers.
