This is England 88
I know there are some fans of the series on here. I just finished the first episode.
I am totally into it just as much as This is England 86.
Without giving out too many details/spoilers to those who have not seen it yet, how are you kids digging it?

Didn't even know it existed, but I just found the first two episodes. Looks like part 3 is tonight.

digging it so far. i feel like it's less of a story this time and just a bunch of stuff happening, but it seems like it's building to something
good... i guess i really just mean there's not much of a build-up to most things so far.

From what I understand,this is really the build up for This Is England 90...which is supposed to be another movie as opposed to a tv deal
you come at the king....you best not miss

Makes a lot of sense. I was actually tempted to say that it seems like the "bridge" episode when you watch a TV season. A lull in the action, but
necessary to build up.

I watched like half of '86 and then I couldn't find time to watch the rest because my wife doesn't want to join in the fun. I may have to make her
during the mid-season hiatus.

So far I've only watched the first episode of 88 but I like it better than 86 already. BD is right, BBC America needs to be showing these and the BBC4
site needs to allow streaming international.

This is England 88 is overall darker than 86 but still gets you laughing. It seems that there is more emphasis on individual character development as
opposed to the storyline....which works fine. The production is awesome...really sets the mood/time. The next film is going to be fucking great with
all of this setup.
I love it. Just finished ep. 3. Kelly is still my dream girl.
If you missed out on 86, try to watch it before 88. I would say this is even more important than watching the first movie before watching 86.

I just finished watching 88. I thought it was overall better than 86. Not as depressing but definitely more whacked out. Excellent. Can't wait for 90.
