Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!

Something was changing, something quite odd!
Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa
In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda.
As Targets were hanging their trees upside down
At Lowe's the word Christmas - was no where to be found.
At K-Mart and Staples and Penny's and Sears
You won't hear the word Christmas; it won't touch your ears.
Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-si-ty
Are words that were used to intimidate me.
Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen
On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton !
At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter
To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.
And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith
Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace
The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded
The reason for the season, stopped before it started.
So as you celebrate 'Winter Break' under your 'Dream Tree'

I am not religious at all. As far as Christmas I was raised that it was a time to spend with ones family and be thankful for all the things you had in
your life. I was also told that it was a time to think about and consider the less fortunate and really ask myself if I had given back over the year
passed. My parents always told me that Christmas was not the season of giving, it was the season of bettering yourself for the following year and
making sure that you were in check more or less. I am going to raise my daughter in the same manner and make sure that this is how she sees Christmas.
A time for family, thanks and making sure your still in line.
As far as any sort of respect for peoples religions and what not? I have absolutely none for any of them.

people who push for being sensitive to non-Christians with the happy holidays thing bug me as much as people who push to have it only be Christmas. I
haven't heard a whole lot of angry jews wanting it only being Hannukkah Time. Some people just need to shut the fuck up for once & eat, drink, & be
fuckin' merry!

I work for Jews who pay us a huge "Christmas Bonus" as well as throw a huge "Christmas Party"
people just look for shit to cry about
as long as the people don't rag on me for lack of beleiving, I will never rag on them for whatever it is they want to do/ beleive.
I swear that right wing nut cases spend half their day commenting on news stories/ blogging anymore....
