stayed home last night, ate cheesesteaks, watched movies. popped dick clark on for approximately four minutes then went to bed. got up this morning,
cooked up breakfast for the family, threw down some bloody marys and now i'm going mountain bike riding today for the first time in years.

had a buddy put on a show last night with a bunch of punk & metal bands from around the area for $3 at the American Legion (which means cheap
drinks!), that was pretty great considering there's not a whole lot of shows around here anymore that don't include shitty electrogarbage by druggies
with macbooks or boring assholes with banjos (nothin' against banjos or anything, but jeeesus). Woke up with only minor scrapes & cuts from falling
down somewhere, looks like I only spent $30 of the $40 I brought with me. Gonna bring in 2012 with an attempt to not drink for a month & eat
healthier to lose at least 20 lbs, & if all goes well & the apocalypse doesn't happen I'll be living in Austin TX by next year. Best wishes to all of
you this year!

I spend New Years every year with a friend I've know for about 20 years, he's married now with 4 kids and a house in east bumfuck..... His family has
always been my second home. We played card games and fell asleep at 12:01.
perfect night.
