Most played song

If you look at your top 25 songs on iTunes, what is the most listened to song?

Mine is "Where the Wild Roses Grow" by Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds.

Winamp doesn't track it :D But lately it would be I Refuse - Suffer & Smile or some Day of Mourning and Hardtime.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

"Somebody I Used to Know" by Elliott Smith. It also held the top spot on my old iPod too with like 175 plays.

Mine is..

Promises Kept by CHAMPION?

It doesn't seem right though. I do have a lot of AGGROLITES in there as well, but I jam them regularly.

Since my last iPod sync Ramallah - Oscar Cotton has the most plays with 6. 4 other Kill A Celebrity songs at 5, Brother Malcolm at 4, Horror & The Gag at 3. Then a whole lotta stuff at 2 plays.

The aforementioned Elliott Smith song was played 175 times on my old iPod. It's about 70 on this one. But I discovered a dark horse contender: "Check My Brain" by Alice in Chains was played 100 times on my newer iPod.

On my iPod... Won't Shine Forever by Captive Nation Rises.

iTunes claims it's the Theme from Tim Burton's Batman by Danny Elfman... but every one of my top 25 have only been played twice. New computer, new iTunes.
