The band is growing on me. That is all.

I got into them in an odd way... I had heard the name, never the music. When the Punisher: War Zone movie came out Ramallah was on the soundtrack and I saw "Rise Against" listed and decided to check them out finally after having heard the name over the years.

I really dig em'. I have not picked up the newest album yet, but have most of their "older" ones. They know how to write a catchy song in my book. I just like how they sound. Hero of War is probably one of the better "war songs" I have personally heard.

I got appeal to reason, the suffer and the witness, revolutions per minute and siren song.... Don't have the first or the last one.

It's weird, I think they are way too polished and etc, but I'm like you. I find myself humming the songs because they have hooks that won't let go. Plus, in my book, dude can right a very good song. I'm talking words. Shit hits home for me and I usually lean a bit to the right in my political views. The way he writes about whats deep down and shit. Good stuff.

They can't lick balls, they are vegan.

I have the revolutions one. I haven't listened to them in a while, but I dig 'em. Had no clue they were vegan. In a lame sort of way that's usually enough for me to give them even more of a shot. Hahaha.

I think the first 2 records are fantastic. THEN everything sounds the same. Same chord progressions, same vocal harmonies etc. Just got old to me real quick.

^^^ Your right about the song similarities. Thing is the lyrics are always on point.
