Led Zepplin

Are you a fan? You like em, hate em? Have a favorite record?

I'll go with Zeppelin IV. Every single song jams.

If its the white trade piece of shit fans thing about the band that you hate, I get it. I didn't really get into them myself till 1999 or so. My impression of them was not favorable as a kid. Also, one of us THORPSTERS posted on facebook a website about a topic I forgot. However, while surfing the site I found a topic 20 musical ripoffs and Zeppelin was one of the guilty ones. Several times in fact.

I like Judge's version of When the Levee breaks.

I like a few songs but wouldn't wear their t shirts or anything

Haven't listen to much of their stuff but what I've heard was meh. I know they are considered to be "classics" in rock but they never interested me.

I like some of the hits, I think they are the older songs, like Rock & Roll, Black Dog, Communication Breakdown...

I think that for the most part I like when other bands cover Led Zeppelin better than actual Led Zeppelin songs. The Coalesce record of Led Zep covers is really good!

I'd rather listen to Floyd than Zep...Floyd moreso just because that's what was always cranked in the car for roadtrips/camping/fishing etc when I was a kid.

Every once in a while I'll put on Animals...great driving album...but Zep is kind of a snore.

I love Led Zepplin. Their whole discography is always on high rotation. There is nothing like some beer, a bit of weed on a nice summer night with some of the homies and your favorite Zepplin jams.

BKT.

I'll tell ya, IV. I an II are good as well, but IV every single song is damn good.

I am a big fan of II, but all the ones Clevo listed are amazing as well. Sit back and listen to the song "Baby I'm Going To Leave You" and I am sure you will see the beauty that Led Zeppelin encompass. That by the way is my favorite Zeppelin song.

However, if you want to go with one album I say 1969's self titled album "Led Zeppelin" is where its at. Enjoy.

BKT.

Tangerine
Babe I'm gonna leave you
Thank you
Since I've been loving you
Black Dog
Over the hills and far away
Ramble on
That's the way
Whole Lotta love

All good tunes.

The songs I like to get the Led out to are those that reference Tolkein.

they're a good band, own a couple of their albums, but I think they're one of the most overrated bands of all time, & they've been so overplayed for me over the years I can't really listen to them anymore.

I'd agree there...just like Sabbath Paranoid...the sheer volume of radio play from that album leaves me no desire to ever add it into any rotation.

Even the B-sides on that album get more play than anything else on any Sabbath album (besides maybe Sweet leaf)...but that is my preferred side of the album.
