amazing story - America's Tallest Man, Igor Vovkovinskiy, Needs $16K For Shoes

I am 7 feet 8.33 inches tall, and I haven't had a proper fitting pair of shoes for more than 6 years.

It's really hard to believe that a shoe company couldn't come through and sponsor the poor guy. Or that a pro basketball player could't kick down a few bucks for a fellow 7-footer.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

Once this goes viral dude will have a closet full of shoes.

If Oprah still did talk shows she'd probably have the tall bastard on too once it picked up traction. Maybe Ellen should do a show with him hah.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

An NBA player would never stoop to help a fellow human being. Well, unless they get a giant gold necklace to wear for their effort.

You'd think Shaq would jump on this.

Dude is fucking massive. It sucks that something as simple as buying shoes is near impossible for him. I'm amazed nobody has stepped up to sponsor him as good PR for their company.
