Craft beer people are getting retarded-er...
$107 for 2 bottles w/ 8 hours left...for bottles I bought for $15 each. I just dont understand spending this much money on a 22oz....but fuck it...my
gain.

Wait, you can buy beer on ebay? Amazing.

Yeah there's a ton of it on there...mostly more "rare" or exclusive stuff and you need to cover your ass w/ all verbage about it being for the
collectibility of the bottles only.

It's kind of messed up and random that I sold 3 bottles last week for $150...and now these two bottles are already $127...I guess people have more
eBay time/attention on a Friday ending auction than a Sunday one.

apparently, auctions that end in the evening on the weekends do the best. depends on what your'e selling, too, i suppose. ebay's site traffic is
heaviest on sundays and in the evening, like 8-10.

Well, My last auction for 3 bottles ended on a Sunday afternoon at $150...this one is ending on a Friday afternoon/evening for 2 of the same 3 bottles
(and NOT including the older '09)...this one may get damn close.
and yes D...those are the barrel aged versions...they cost $50 a bottle on DL day and you can only purchase if you win the right (it's a little
scratch of ticket you get when you turn in your 4 bottle allotment ticket for regular Dark Lord. Someone on DLD took a picture of theirs on the hood
of their car (while they were still at DLD) and put it on eBay and it sold for like $350. For ONE bottle. It's just nuts.

That would probably sell to a collector (vs a "drinker" w/ too much cash on hand like the Dark Lord situation)...list it up.

As a craft beer drinker I hope to one day drink some Dark Lord but at 50+ a bottle I need to make more money to justify it
Well I've got a feeling I'm gonna get mine in. Retribution let the games begin.

I'm not even sure why...I was actually pretty shocked when I saw it was already that high. Only thing I can think of is the '09 BCS.

Generally it's beers that can be aged.
High ABV / barrel aged stouts can develop for 5 years in the bottle if kept in cellar like conditions (basically in a cool dark spot out of direct
light)...people will also sell them in what is called "verticals" which would be like Dark Lord 2009, 2010 & 2011 in one lot...to have some snooty
tasting party.
Sometimes a newer beer will sell good if it's close to it's release date and due to hype bottles were hard to come by, or people got shut out in line
waiting for it. Some of these beer releases have people camping overnight in freezing weather...or buying tickets months in advance.
...and as always it's subject to the buyers and whos got the most cash burning a hole in their pocket.
