Check out Black Bird Pizza in Philly. It is right off of South street on 6th or 5th. In Chinatown you've got Singapore, Kingdom of Vegetarians, and New Harmony.

By far, the best vegetarian/vegan Chinese in the Philly area is actually in Malvern, Su Tao Cafe, but that is probably a bit far out. Singapore is my fave in Chinatown. If you're going to be out at Big D's place Su Tao is close though.

Blackbird is awesome. There's Grindcore House, a vegan coffee house owned by David Anthem who I believe is the same David Anthem that sang in Prayer For Cleansing. Recently on 12th and Chestnut a raw vegan juice bar opened called Jar Bar. And also on 18th near Rittenhouse Square there is Hip City Veg.

For an all veg Middle Eastern spot there's Mama's Vegetarian on 20th and Sansom or there abouts. It's definitely 20th street.

There's a lot, actually.

DO yourself a favor in Philly and go to Govinda's To GO and get the vegan philly chicken cheese steak. I have dreams about it.
I think they only have it at the "togo " place so check the menus. You won't be disappointed!
GOVINDAS

One time my wife had this orange oily liquid come out her nose after we ate at Govindas... as we were driving away.

There's this other place, on the Main Line in Bryn Mawr, that just opened called Vge. My wife bakes cupcakes for them.
