joey, I don't know, but people went nuts for Outburst. Honus was too busy setting up for Sheer Terror to notice me in front of the stage (two feet from him dropping down a set list) wearing a Thorp Warriors shirt. :)

Those were some of the best hardcore shows I have seen in a long time. Rancid rocked the fucking house.

YOT and WARZONE owned the show!!!!
RANCID was awesome!
The OUTBURST without the real singer = way better than I thought it would be! Very tight and the dude from Backtrack did a great job!

Who was the dude with the big beard in the Thorp Warriors shirt with my picture on it in the front for Sheet Terror?

Great show... YOT was great, Warzone was amazing, Sheer Terror played an awesome ugly downer of a set and Rancid was real good, but I gotta wonder if Tim plays that guitar at all?

Just got back from the day after show and winding down before the trip to Boston tomorrow.

Honus, that was me in the front.

I didn't see a bad set. I got there when Minus 1 took the stage and probably missed one set somewhere in there.

DYS was a nice change of pace but still fit nicely. Hazen Street was... good at what the do. YOT was great. Warzone tribute was handled amazingly well, and people were going nuts. Paulie seemed a bit angrier and less playful than usual for ST. Rancid was really good.

I do want to say one thing about the show. I really didn't know what to think of Rancid being on the bill (or Hazen Street, but it's clear why they'd be on there). My guess was that the generally nice vibe of these kinds of shows would be ruined by the more general audience Rancid would attract... either the place being empty because Rancid fans bought the tickets but didn't show up until their set, or people complaining about the music all day, or something else to ruin the day. First off, none of that happened; a lot of their fans were there but didn't ruin anything. Second, there were easily three generations in that place... older people who weren't kids the first time around coming back to see Sheer Terror, lots of your regular 25-45 crowd, and a bunch of young kids - guys and girls - having a blast in the pit and at the show in general... and by kids, I mean some people brought their young ones (with heavy-duty headphones to protect hearing) and some younger teens and maybe pre-teens getting into punk rock. Not a knock against Rancid here, but I'm really happy that a bunch of "outsiders" and kids had a chance to get a much broader perspective to what this scene is all about and get exposed to a lot of bands that deserve some more attention. If all the different kinds of people at that show got along with each other outside the venue as well as they did inside, the world would be a nicer place.

Day-after show was good. John Joseph did a nice spoken word set (got a video, will upload later). Young kids in a band called Provider are keeping NYHC alive for the next generation. Skarhead isn't really my thing, but they put on a hell of a set and crammed way above capacity into that place, which felt more like a basement show than a big event. Crowd died down a lot for Bold, but I enjoyed the set.

I cleaned up the stage before ST played and picked up the Warzone set list, multiple copies of typed Warzone lyrics and Vinny Stigmas hand written lyrics to Skinhead Youth.

Into Bust
It's your choice (Ray Cappo)
Fuck your attitude (KevOne)
Free at last (Mark Scondotto)
Escape from your society (Puerto Rican Myke)
We're the crew (Puerto Rican Myke)
Don't forget (Toby Morse)
Wound up (Freddy Madball)
Crazy but not insane (Tommy Rat)
Sound of revolution (Mike/Dean)
Skinhead youth (Vinny Stigma)
In the mirror (Ernie)
As one
Young till I die

I can't believe nobody did Dance Hard or Die. That's one of their best tunes.

It's a long shot but, did anyone find a gray plastic bag with "will" written on it and an xxl sheer terror hoodie inside? I was a drunken asshole and lost it pretty much as soon as I got it.

I wish I had something new to tell ya...
