Would you buy a used hard drive?

I need to upgrade to a larger external hard drive for my music, pics, etc. I was thinking about getting one cheaper on ebay, just don't know if I trust people enough. For all I know I could buy one with some virus on it, or pictures of Roseanne Barr naked. Ugh.

I sold my 500gb on amazon. It was a big western digital bookshelf one. It sold quick and dude didn't complain. I didn't think it would sell but it did. Just so you know, other people buy em used so...... score big bro. I attempted to buy the new one I got used but everyone wanted the same amount for it used as it was new. That made no sense. I got a WD my passport for mac at BESTBUY for like $10 off with my accrued points.

Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

I wouldn't, they die often, warranty periods count. Who knows how long they had it, what they've done with it etc. The price of drives now is so cheap by the time you paid PayPal fees and shipping you would be better off going to the store/ordering direct online from a business.

They are seriously wicked cheap. Tiger Direct in Canada has killer prices.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

there was a time when i would have (bought and sold, actually), but like mike said, the prices are so low these days, it's kinda not worth it.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.
