still on track

figured I would start a new thread since its been so long sice I posted in the other one.

Its been about 9 months since I started my new 'diet' (aka lifestyle) and as of this weekend I'm down 70 pounds. Most of that weight started to come off in March though. I started at 288 and I'm not at 218. I figured I have about 35-40 more to lose, but thats really just a number I picked. I'll see how I feel once I'm under 200 and go from there!

congrats man, keep it up. Once you start feeling good about your progress it can be easy to slip up, but at least you can see how far you've made it. I lost quite a bit over last year, started to gain some back, but getting back on track as quick as I could reversed it again. Cheers

that's awesome, honus, congratulations. what are you doing for exercise, or is it strictly diet?

i lost 50 in 2011, but have been slow to get much more off this year, unfortunately. after maintaining the lower weight the first half of the year, i'm down maybe another 10 in the past month or two. i've been biking 50-60 miles a week and recently decided to remove meat from my diet. not sure how long the veg thing will last, but it's been nearly a month so far.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.
