Today's Humiliation

My back pain has gotten even worse over the last couple of years, and it prevents me from doing much in the way of exercise, even walking is too much some days. Doctors wanted me to get a new MRI done to see how bad things have gotten. Went to my scheduled appointment and the sympathetic (and very hot) technician told me I was too fucking fat to do it. She just used nicer language. Manufacturer's specs stipulate nobody over 300 Lbs can go in the machine. Turns out I'm up to 305.5 Lbs these days. I can't catch a fucking break.

Shit, I just saw this. I always go straight to the General Discussion forum.

That sucks to hear. I've gained a lot of weight over the last few years and topped out around 300 lbs. I think I've lost some weight since going vegetarian and then vegan. I don't check my weight, by my belts have a few extra inches that I couldn't utilize before, so something is changing.

I was in an MRI scanner a few times at max weight, and nobody ever thought twice about it or raised a fuss.

Check your u2u. I'll send something soon.

Please read and, if you can, help out a friend: http://www.gofundme.com/jacobmedical.

ug, that sucks. sorry, discipline. hopefully the 5.5 can be dropped with diet adjustments so at least they can do the scan and see what's up.

I'm getting rescheduled for an appointment at another place with a newer machine that can handle fatties.

Have you ever noticed how crayons are a lot like M&M's? All the colors tend to taste the same.
