Lost an old friend who took his own life

Just found out this morning. Last I saw him 8 months ago we didn't even talk. Dude and I have been at odds for many years. Some really good times and some bad. He went down a very bad path with drugs and everything that goes along with it. I don't blame you friend for your frustrations in life. You had I tough road paved for you. Hopefully you are able to Rest In Peace Musser.

Sorry to hear this man.
Unfortunately, I'm all too familiar with this situation.
Be strong, my friend.

Looking into it. I don't think he will even have one. I met him when I moved to a city at the age of 12 he was 14. I lived up the street. We skated and became friends then. We were really cool for about 6 years or so. Then he got messed up in shit and we parted ways. Occasionally we'd meet up if he made it back to town, but that always became some kind of drama. He moved back for help about 3 years ago. He got it, but it didn't hold. Dude carried a lot of weight from being abused and lack of real parents. Never got the help he really needed. Man, you really see that is such a common thing anymore with so many people. Including ourselves sometimes. Life, its fragile.

Sorry,Mo...I understand the feeling of remembering someone for what they were at some point in yer life, and then - for whatever reasons - it all gets lost. No one's to blame if the connection is never made, again. It just doesn't. Christ,I could fill a phone book with people that have had an impact on my life ,even if only briefly, and then they're gone. And,a lot of them are still alive..

Will learn to Tap Dance,eventually...Will have you broads Hula,definitely...Trust me,you'll see.

Sorry to hear, it sucks to find out people you knew checked out and you never got a chance to make amends or hang out one last time on good terms.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Sorry for your loss my man. I have known a few cats who just had a bad hand dealt to them in life and some make it out and some don't. Those who did not I still think about a lot, always wish things had been better for them, try and imagine what they would be doing now.

Keep your chin up homie and thank those that have made your life worth while.

BKT.

sorry to hear about your loss....it's a bummer seeing people you were close with at some point of your life going down a bad road, not to mention taking that kind of way out. Had a buddy choose that way out last year. As I'm nearing 30 I'm glad to see most of my friends & myself settle down from the old days of getting loaded that we used to have together, but a few close ones still struggle pretty bad & definitely aren't happy with it. Been to a few "going away to rehab"parties in the last few years & all I can do is wish the best for these people, & be that friend that can hang out with them sober if that's what they need.
