Sons of Anarchy

Anybody been watching the new season? I'm loving it so far.

It's actually been really good outside of the Gemma stuff. Sutter couldn't be anymore transparent at this point that he's just trying to give his wife screentime.

The show is good pulp but he really uses the same tricks over and over and over...with the nu-metal or irish-y song over a chase scene or the introspective song over a montage of everyone being deep in thought.

this last episode was some comedy though with the "bare knuckle Irish dude fight" and the "tranny blackmail " scene....

I don't mind it too much, mostly because I like the character quite a bit. I'm giving them time to move Gemma back into a more central role again.

I really liked Gemmas character through seasons 2 and 3...but when she became just a constant scheming plot foil to get screen time it started to become a nuisance. I was literally FLOORED when she actually gave that box with the cooler in it to Tara. When the sasquatch handed it to her I almost screamed nooooooooooo! dont do it...we'll have to suffer through 3 episodes of sub-plots about this!!!!

Gemma didn't know what was on the box...it was nothing...it was the it and the thumb the Mexicans needed to prove they "killed" the hooker chick.

I understand that...what I was trying to say, was as soon as Gemma got a box that was supposed to go to Jax..I just assumed from past history that we were going to get a 5 episode arc with her going on the road smuggling the box or some other far fetched Gemma nonsense we been subjected to several times.

Agreed. I thought she was going to hide the box from Jax. It makes sense that she didn't, as she wasn't trying to protect Clay and herself as she has in the past couple of seasons.

I've been meaning to check out Boardwalk Empire, just haven't gotten around to it yet. My sister says I'll probably love it.

Boardwalk Empire is fucking fantastic.

Homeland is worth a look too.

Walking Dead has just started again. I'm not crazy about it but I do keep watching.

Not drama but the recent series of Louie was just brilliant.

I just want Breaking Bad back.
