How long has Jasta's voice sounded like that? I haven't listened to these guys in years but this track is fucking cool.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

i thought the last hatebreed album was pretty damn solid as are both Kingdom of Sorrows. The jasta lp was a bit too much for me though. looking forward to this new hatebreed though.

I dug all the HATEBREED releases. Not a fan of Jasta(band). Kingdom was alright. As for his voice I am not sure, I've been into the band since the beginning and think it sounds the same to me. Maybe its just that he perfected his craft I guess.

Just listened to the full track. I will forever like this band as long as they keep it this way. I know they have veered a little the past couple of releases but man, there are always 3 or 4 really solid tracks per album for my taste. Also, Jamey just seems like a really nice dude.

One of those bands I liked back in their early days, but don't really do anything for me now. I can't even remember the last time I listened to them.
